The Lab21 group is focused on providing technically advanced testing products and services for the healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and environmental industries.

The Company's products include diagnostic tests for cancer, liver disease, respiratory illnesses and infectious diseases.

Northbank Communications worked with Lab21 to raise the awareness and profile of Lab21 and their products.

Objectives

  • To position Lab21 as a leading provider of healthcare and environmental diagnostics
  • To increase awareness of Lab21 among potential customers
  • To build the profile of the Lab21 management team

Method

  • Northbank conducted a briefing meeting with Lab21 to define a communications strategy, and likely news flow
  • Having designed the key messages, the necessary materials and tool kit were prepared to facilitate the media relations programme, including boilerplate, Q&A's and identification of key media
  • Northbank facilitated media briefings with key publications including Clinica, Dow Jones and FT as part of a profile building campaign
  • Identified key opinion leaders to support the company's novel approach
