New website for Oxitec
Oxitec Ltd. wanted a website that reflected its position as a leading innovator developing effective and environmentally-friendly techniques to control insect pests that are damaging to agriculture and public health. Starting with the Company's logo, Northbank created a new brand theme to communicate key messages and establish Oxitec as a world leader in the field of biological insect pest control.
The existing brand identity and website did not clearly reflect that of an environmentally friendly company with a dedicated focus. The colour palate used was very dark and there was no clear design style across all of the site. Northbank proposed that a strengthened corporate identity was the right solution to help build a valuable, cohesive and manageable identity which truly reflected the commercial and ethical strengths and goals of the Company.
Our task:
- Strengthen overall identity, building on established logo and corporate colours. Form new identity and corporate style to establish strong platform for all future communications materials.
- Create theme to communicate key messages and establish the Company as a world leader in the field of biological insect pest control.
- Create new website to enable easy access, clear communication and straightforward updating (www.oxitec.com)
Our methods:
- Held meeting with stakeholders to discover key messages to be communicated in corporate identity
- Produced creative design and new website that captured ethical and environmentally-friendly theme
Results:
- Website structured to allow easy/direct access and enable ease of use when making updates
- Clear identity now in place to enable easy implementation across materials
