Northbank
Communications wins first Finnish client
In October,
Ipsat Therapies Ltd appointed Northbank Communications as its communications
advisor, working on a range of projects including design and media
outreach. Ipsat is based in Espoo, near Helsinki, and is Northbank’s
first Finnish client. Leading the Ipsat account is Associate Director
Katja Stout, a native Finn herself and fluent Finnish speaker.
Ipsat is focused on the development of products
in the anti-infective field, in particular the prevention of hospital
acquired infections. Projects already completed for the company
include posters for its stand at BioPartnering Europe and media
outreach surrounding the conference. The positive results of Ipsat’s
phase I clinical trials were announced at BPE and Northbank achieved
coverage on the same day in New Scientist and BBC Online, as well
as Finnish national radio. Work is now underway on the editing of
Ipsat’s business plan.
Katja Stout commented on the win, “I am delighted
to be working with Ipsat. The company is representative of Finland’s
innovative and rapidly emerging biotech industry. At Northbank we
are looking forward to helping other companies in the region develop
their communications as they grow into successful and sustainable
businesses.”
