Northbank
Communications strengthens team with two new staff additions
As a result
of continued client growth, Northbank Communications, the full service
PR and marketing consultancy focused on science-based companies,
has announced an expansion with the appointment of two account managers,
Lorna Watson and Dr Christelle Kerouedan, to the London team.
Lorna joins
with extensive marketing and consultancy experience in the life
sciences and biotechnology sectors. Her career has spanned working
with biotechnology start-ups to multi-national pharmaceutical companies
in the UK and international markets. Prior to joining Northbank,
Lorna led the marketing and public relations programmes for NextGen
Sciences. Previously, as a consultant at Scientific Generics Ltd,
she also focussed on business development, fund raising for biotechnology
companies and consultancy for venture capital clients. Lorna has
a Natural Sciences degree, majoring in biology and biochemistry
as well as a CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing.
Lorna will
take responsibility for a wide range of client accounts, working
alongside client directors on PR and marketing projects targeted
at marketing and corporate audiences.
Christelle's
background as a medical research scientist and experience in business
management communication strategy brings a variety of communication
skills to her work for biotechnology clients. Prior to joining Northbank,
Christelle founded The Maternity Wellbeing Company, a start-up company
where, as managing director, she designed and implemented the communications
strategy and established close relationships with partnership firms
to develop the Company’s service offering. She was successful
in obtaining major plc’s as clients. Christelle has a Masters
degree in Immunology from Pasteur Institute, Paris and a PhD in
Ophthalmic Immunology from Imperial College, London with research
experience gained in France and the UK. A French native, she is
fluent in written and spoken English, and conversational German.
As part of the
account handling team, Christelle will manage client communications
programmes including trade and corporate, public relations and marketing
for quoted and private company clients.

to welcome Lorna and Christelle to the team. Both broaden our skill
base, with Christelle extending our European language capability."
