Northbank Communications joins the UK's BioIndustry Association (BIA)

Northbank Communications is pleased to announce its membership of the BIA, the representative body for the UK biotechnology industry.

Commenting on the announcement, Sue Charles, Northbank CEO, said, "Membership of the BIA is vital if we are to play an active role in the UK biotech sector. Having been professionally involved with the BIA for many years, we are convinced of the valuable role the BIA plays and we look forward to actively participating in the BIA's activities."

The BIA's primary role is to represent the industry to a broad section of stakeholders – from patient groups and politicians to the media and financial sector – advancing its members' interests nationally and internationally to maintain a healthy UK bioscience sector. It works to raise standards within the industry and implement best practice as well as working to give its members the tools – or introductions – they need to reach their full potential.
