Northbank Communications strengthens team with addition of new account manager
As a result of continued client growth, Northbank Communications, the full service PR and marketing consultancy focused on science-based companies, has announced an expansion with the appointment of a new account manager, Gemma Bradley, to the London team
Gemma has 3 years experience in science communications combined with a strong academic background that includes a first class degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, and a diploma in Science Communication and an MPhil in Biochemistry from the University of London. Prior to joining Northbank Gemma gained extensive media and marketing experience in life sciences and medical research as PR Officer at King's College London where she was responsible for promoting scientific and medical research and teaching through media outreach and newsletters. She also edited various internal publications and maintained the news and events section of the College website. In her prior role as PR and Marketing Executive at BioMed Central, an online scientific publishing house, Gemma wrote, co-ordinated and issued press releases on biological and medical research, and gained valuable marketing communications experience including DM, web, design, advertising and conference support.
As part of the account handling team, Gemma works on corporate and financial communications for both public and private clients in the life science, biotechnology and medical science industries. She provides account management with a particular focus on outreach to investors/analysts as well as trade and national media.
