Northbank Communications strengthens PR team with the appointment of Dr Douglas Pretsell as Account Manager

Northbank Communications Limited, specialists in science communications, has expanded its PR team with the appointment of Dr Douglas Pretsell as an Account Manager.

Douglas brings several years’ corporate, financial and healthcare PR experience to Northbank, gained at Noonan Russo and, more recently, at Manning Selvage & Lee. He has worked with a diverse range of clients in life sciences and healthcare including Eli Lilly, Chiron Blood Products, Biovitrum, CeNeS Pharmaceuticals, Personal Chemistry, Compugen, Sequenom, and PanTherix. He has a first class academic background with a PhD in neuropsychopharmacology from Cambridge University and postdoctoral research experience at Edinburgh University. At Northbank he will assist with business development and will initially manage the PR accounts for Vernalis and Scancell.

This appointment follows the appointment of three new account executives in April.
