Upward and homeward – Northbank strengthens Congleton office

Northbank Communications' Congleton office has been strengthened with Dr Eileen Paul, previously Account Manager in the Munich Office, returning to the UK to fill the vacancy of Account Manager in the Congleton office and with the promotion of James Parkinson from Account Executive to Account Manager.

Eileen, who helped co- found Northbank's Munich office in 2001 combines her two years communications experience gained at Northbank with 15 years experience as a molecular and cell biologist. At Northbank Eileen has advised a range of clients including Curacyte AG, Wilex GmbH, Morphochem AG, Xantos AG and F2G Ltd on projects including technical copywriting and PR, business plan support and website development. As a scientist she gained both research and lecturing experience in the UK and US and has acted as an advisor to multi-national drug companies. She gained her degree in microbiology from Aberdeen University and her PhD in molecular and cell biology at Canterbury University.

James joined Northbank in 2001 after gaining a degree in Marketing from Northumbria University. During his time as an Account Executive he has contributed valuable support to many large accounts and projects including KuDOS Pharmaceuticals Ltd, The Automation Partnership Ltd and RiboTargets Ltd(now British Biotech). He has gained a wide variety of communications skills including PR, media relations, copywriting and design project management.

Peter Colley, Board Director and head of the Northbank Communications Congleton office said, "James' promotion is very well deserved and we are delighted that he has grown into a more senior account management role. His promotion underlines our policy of promotion from within, based on merit", continuing "Eileen's return to the UK demonstrates the flexibility Northbank affords as an employer and her technical skills will provide value support to our growing client base".

Northbank has recently registered its commitment to achieve Investors in People accreditation.
