Northbank
appoints Douglas Pretsell PhD as Munich Bureau Chief and moves to
larger offices in Munich
Northbank is pleased to announce that it has reinforced its presence
in Central Europe with a move to new offices in Munich. Dr Douglas
Pretsell, Senior Account Manager, has taken up the post of Munich
Bureau Chief and will continue to drive Northbank’s European
life science and biotech business from Germany.
Douglas joined Northbank in May 2004 as an Account Manager. His
promotion to Senior Account Manager, his strong academic background
and over 9 years science communications experience made him the
perfect candidate to take up the baton as Northbank’s new
Munich Bureau Chief. In addition to managing client communications
programmes across corporate, financial and marketing communications
for quoted and private clients, Douglas is also taking responsibility
for growing Northbank’s reputation and client base within
Central Europe.
Douglas said, “I am excited by the opportunity of helping
to build Northbank’s client base and am pleased to have the
chance of living and working in Munich."
Commenting on the developments, Sue Charles, CEO, said, “We
see excellent potential for expanding our business further in Germany,
Switzerland and Austria, building on our success to date. We wish
