International
CRO goes online with new identity
When International
Contract Research Organisation CRC needed a website to present
a unified presence after a series of
strategic
acquisitions, Northbank was selected as the ideal communications
partner, having recently completed the Company's identity
realignment.
The CRC identity
presents a strong and clear corporate look that the Northbank
design team were able to build upon within
the
website, drawing on colour and form to produce an easy to manage
format.
The identity was further enhanced through personalised photography,
representing CRC's expertise and services.
"The website
officially launches CRC's identity and provides
the established and solid image that is critical to a Contract
Research Organisation (CRO)", stated Northbank Director,
Peter Colley. "By progressing CRC's identity and
personality through the website project we have provided the
Company with a
tool that can also be used to lead future design work."
Ease of use
and accessibility were identified as keystones within the project
in order to manage effectively the depth
of information
and services provided by a large CRO such as CRC. Northbank's
solution was to provide split navigation for the corporate
information and services, providing access to critical
information from anywhere
within the site and identified through the use of CRC's
corporate colours.
CRC's
Commercial Director, Tim Carden, commented, "It
was very important that the website communicated our
global reach and provided an effective mechanism to deal with
operational issues
such as investigator registration and handling country
specific communications." Tim continued, "We
now have a website that effectively combines the dissemination
of information and
strong design."
Further projects
for CRC include stationery design and production for all of the
company's
offices across the
world.
