Communications appoints Frances Bornstein Associate Director,
to head its Financial Communications and Investors Relations
Practice
London,
Manchester, Munich, 22nd September 2006 Northbank
Communications Limited, the leading consultancy in science
and life science communications, announces the appointment
of Frances Bornstein as Associate Director, to head its Financial
Communications and Investor Relations practice.
Most recently,
Frances ran a consulting business in Switzerland, most notably
advising Intercell through its IPO on the Vienna Stock Exchange,
including its IR program. Previous to that, she worked at the
SWX Swiss Exchange, most latterly as Vice President and Head
of Issuers & Investor Relations. At SWX she advised companies
for over five years on new issues and aspects of being a public
company. Frances was responsible for the Positioning and Marketing
of the equity market and for the development of all life science
related activities. Frances also headed the strategic segmentation
project for the equity market which included the launch of Small
and Mid Cap indices (SPI EXTRA, SMIM) and the SWX Life Science
indices (SXI LIFE, SXI BM). Her early career included broadcast
and news agency journalism covering business and finance, in
Munich and Zurich. She has a degree in Business specialising
in Marketing and Strategic Management.
At Northbank
Frances will be based in its London offices, working with current
clients and growing its Financial Communications and IR business
both in the UK and n Europe. She replaces Emma Palmer who left
in July to join ING Wholesale Banking.
