Dr Eileen Paul Promoted to New Position of Projects Director at Northbank Communications

London, Manchester, Munich – 23 July 2007 - Northbank Communications, the leader in life science PR and communications, has announced the promotion of Dr Eileen Paul, from Senior Account Manager to the newly created post of Projects Director. Eileen will be responsible for taking the lead on design and copywriting projects, working alongside Northbank's design studio and client teams. Eileen is co-located with Northbank's design studio in its Congleton office (near Manchester).

Eileen has been with the Company for six years and was co-founder in 2001 of Northbank's Munich office. Prior to joining Northbank, she gained over 15 years experience as a molecular and cell biologist, and carried out postdoctoral research in world-renowned scientific laboratories in the USA before forming her own research group at the University of Manchester. She has also served as a Scientific Consultant to Pfizer animal health and drug discovery departments.

As Projects Director, Eileen takes day-to-day responsibility for major design and copywriting projects targeted at commercial and investor audiences. She has extensive experience in translating complex science into high impact copy and in communicating corporate identities through effective branding and design. Her current clients include: Biota, Cobra Biomanufacturing, Trigen, Thermo Fisher Scientific (BioImage brand), Sosei and Acacia Pharma.
