Exiting
the Bear Market
October 30th
has been confirmed as the date for Biotechnology Investment Today’s second BioBusiness
Forum at the London Stock Exchange. The theme of the seminar is “exiting
the bear market.” It is the second in the BioBusiness series
to be sponsored by Northbank and is a reflection of its continued
commitment to the biotechnology industry.
Northbank will join some of the top companies in the biotech industry
including UBS, Lovells, London Biotechnology Network as sponsors
of the seminar.
The mission of the seminars is to impart valuable business intelligence
to those attending in an environment conducive to relationship
building. Speakers will include Denise Pollard-Knight (Nomura),
Doug McCutcheon (UBS Investment Bank), Karl Keegan (Cannacord),
Jeremy Curnock Cook (BML) and John Bowler (Schroders).
The seminars
are informal and interactive, and concentrate on creating an
atmosphere in which delegates can discuss important
financing and business issues, and network at the highest possible
level with investors and other attendees. The proceedings are carefully
moderated in order to ensure dynamic audience participation. Attendance
is strictly limited to keep the meetings intimate and is by invitation
only.
The reception that follows each seminar is also by invitation
only and qualifying guests include venture capital and private
equity investors, business angels, corporate venturers, investment
bankers, fund managers, buy and sell side analysts, and pharmaceutical
company executives.
As part of
its sponsorship Northbank can nominate companies to attend and
invite its clients and key contacts. If you would like
to be put forward, let
us know.
