Northbank Communications' Account Manager awarded MBA

Stefan Platz, Account Manager and Head of the Munich office for Northbank Communications Ltd has successfully graduated with an MBA in Entrepreneurship for Applied Biomedicine from the Danube University in Krems, Austria. His final year thesis focused on financial reporting for biotech companies.

The University of Krems' MBA program is the first to focus on the special needs of the life science and health care sectors. Stefan joined Northbank in September 2002, half way through his MBA. He has completed the MBA part time whilst helping to expand Northbank’s presence in Germany. In addition to his MBA, Stefan has an MSc in genetics.

Since joining Northbank, Stefan has been instrumental in helping to secure Tecan and Sigma as new clients, and also contributes to German media out reach for Affymetrix.
