Northbank
strengthens PR team with new Account Manager
Northbank Communications
has expanded its London team with the appointment of Rebecca Todd,
PhD as Account Manager.
Rebecca joins
Northbank from WestawayGillis a consultancy specialising in NHS
marketing and communications, where she worked with major pharmaceutical
clients, such as GSK and AstraZeneca, and gained an in depth knowledge
of UK healthcare policy. She was previously Senior Account Executive
in the healthcare division of Cohn & Wolfe. Whilst there she
worked on Communiqué award winning campaigns ‘Fatal
attraction – Lifting the Smokescreen’, a high profile
media campaign to raise public awareness of the issues surrounding
women and smoking, and ‘IgE – 21st Century Thinking
in Asthma’ a targeted asthma awareness campaign. Prior to
that Rebecca was PR development Officer of the Peterlee Education
Action Zone.
Rebecca brings
to Northbank in depth scientific knowledge, having gained her PhD
in the field of genetics, as well as four years PR experience. She
will be working on a variety of client accounts including: Affymetrix
Inc, Integragen Inc, HUGO, Solexa Ltd and DNA Research Innovations
Ltd.

Rebecca commented,
