Northbank Communications strengthens team with addition of new Account Manager

London, Manchester, Munich – 30th January 2007   Northbank Communications appoints Deborah Gaskell as Account Manager

Northbank Communications Limited, the leading consultancy in science and life science communications, has announced the appointment of Deborah Gaskell as Account Manager.

Deborah will be based in Northbank's London offices and will focus on managing PR and communication programmes across marketing and corporate clients.

Deborah has over 20 years' PR and journalist experience focusing on the science and business sectors. Prior to joining Northbank as an Account Manager she was employed by the Royal Society of Chemistry as News Editor on Chemistry in Britain. More recently Deborah held the position of Corporate Communications Manager for Europe's leading independent analytical laboratory, LGC. Here she successfully planned and managed a broad and varied external communications programme for the press and other key stakeholder groups.

A key component of Deborah's activities is an understanding of individual journalists, what they are seeking as stories, the timescales on which they operate and the deadlines they adhere to.
